Responsibilities: 

• Handle full set of product development process from sketch for sample development to completed products
• Responsible for the innovative creation of new product concepts & or ranges from briefs provided
• To understand the unique design language of the customers Brands & the different retail channel requirements
• Understanding of production techniques in order to develop / modify designs to reach a target price
• Identify & work closely with Key Suppliers & also to seek out & evaluate new potential suppliers of product and added value services in line with the Brand and/or style requirements
• Travel regionally to supplier’s production facilities to evaluate the feasibility of production & provide on site checking of pre production and production samples
• Meet with vendors to discuss product briefs to explain aesthetic design requirement & interpretation & follow up sample development with vendor & product manager to ensure right samples first time

Requirements: 

• Diploma in Fashion Design or above
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in fashion / sports industry
• Proactive and able to work tight time schedule
• Strong fashion sense, creative and able to work independently
• Good knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator is a must
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese / Putonghua
• Frequent travel to PRC is required
